Company on Decision to Pull Ads from Beck TV Show: 'We Do Not Want to be Associated with Hateful Speech' | NewsBusters.org: "I fear your media buyers have been lead unwittingly astray by a union-financed disinformation campaign.

I have regularly watched the Glenn Beck Show since its debut on Fox, and for years prior to that on CNN. Apart from a rare comment made by a guest, I have never witnessed anything remotely approaching hate-speech, unless quoting our country's founding fathers somehow qualifies as hate-speech in these Orwellian times.

Because this country still protects free speech, for now, Sargento has every right to choose where and when to advertise. Likewise, as a buyer of 2-3 pounds of packaged cheese per week, I'm free to choose from several brands.

Until such time as Sargento rescinds its misguided cancellation of advertising on Beck's program, I won't be purchasing any of your products.

Remember, honest, hardworking Americans who believe in free speech, even that which we don't agree with, far outnumber the union operatives. Offend us at the peril of your bottom line."
